Real Training launches updated SEND & Inclusion programme and new Inclusive Educational Leadership programme
As part of our commitment to continue providing up to date and relevant training for teachers and SEND professionals, we have recently reviewed and revalidated Real Training’s postgraduate programmes with Middlesex University.
The SEND & Inclusion programme has been expanded, and now features a wider range of modules. Specialist pathways have been introduced offering the opportunity for delegates to focus on Autism, Assessment and Pastoral care. Alternatively, delegates can achieve a Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma, or the full Masters of Education in SEND and Inclusion by picking and choosing from the full range of modules.
The Inclusive Educational Leadership is a new programme of study for those working in or aspiring to work in a leadership role. This programme enables delegates to choose from core and recommended leadership modules, with the option to include modules from the SEND and Inclusion programme which cover a broader range of SEN topics.
“We are delighted to launch the Inclusive Educational Leadership programme which provides a pathway for current and aspiring school leaders to develop their skills and knowledge in Inclusive school leadership. Understanding that the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities can often be complex, it is fundamental that school leaders plan for their school systems, timetables, buildings, curriculums and ethos to be inclusive by design. We are delighted to lead and support current and aspiring school leaders, both in the UK and around the world, as they work on this important professional development, the impact of which affects whole school outcomes.” – Dr Siobhan Mellor, Director of Pedagogy and Learning
The first cohorts for the new postgraduate programmes will commence in May 2024.
